Campus IP Broadcasting System Solution


I. Industry Background

Issued in Mar 2012 and Jun 2016 respectively, China’s national education informatization development plans (2011-2020 & 13th Five-Year Plan) set clear targets for campus digital upgrade. Guided by the revolutionary impact of information technology on education, the policies push forward school informatization construction to realize high-quality teaching resource sharing, in-depth integration between digital technology and classroom teaching, all-round innovation of educational concepts & teaching methods, and the building of smart digital campuses.

II. Requirement Analysis

1. Point-to-point & local playback inside classrooms

Wall-mounted IP terminals are deployed in every classroom. Teachers can freely select and play audio resources from central server independently without cross-class interference; local on-site sound reinforcement is also supported.

2. Sub-control management & remote broadcast paging

Auxiliary management PCs are arranged in principal offices and campus broadcasting station for nearby convenient operation. Authorized staff can initiate remote paging to whole campus, specified grades, individual classes or administrative offices via remote call station.

3. Scheduled background music, class bell timing

Programmable unattended automatic schedule supports partition-specific playback for class bells, eye exercises and group calisthenics according to daily school timetable.

4. Backup function for classroom terminals

Each wall terminal is equipped with constant-voltage analog backup circuit. System automatically switches to traditional constant-voltage broadcast mode upon power or network outage to guarantee stable English listening examination.

5. Local PA expansion on terminal

For outdoor sports meetings and flag-raising ceremonies, wireless microphones can be plugged into IP terminals to realize temporary on-site loudspeaker broadcast on playground.
